Biography

Skawahlook First Nation is pleased to welcome Jamie Martin as our new Managing Director.

A proud member of Skwah First Nation, Jamie brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in operations, business development, and organizational growth. Her career includes leadership roles with Starbucks, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch, and High Tide Inc., where she oversaw large-scale operations, new store development, and expansion projects across British Columbia and Alberta. Most recently, through her company JEM Consulting, she has supported organizations with leadership development, operational planning, and sustainable growth.

Jamie is passionate about building strong relationships and believes effective leadership begins with listening, learning, and working together. She looks forward to supporting staff, Chief and Council, and the community as Skawahlook First Nation continues to move forward.
