Laura has been with the Ruby Creek Art Gallery since October 2022, and
you will find her in the Gallery Thursday through Saturday. She comes to
Sq’ewá:lxw after more than nine years working in a heritage hotel. Her
work experience is varied and includes film and television work where she
worked in set decoration and props. She also worked at a Fraser Valley
estate winery, was a small business owner, a retail merchandiser, as well
as being a mother and grandmother. Laura enjoys discovering new First
Nations artists to feature in the Gallery and building relationships with both
artists and customers.
